What is oleander?
Oleander is the multi-engine data warehouse for builders & their agents. With one connection to oleander, you unlock a powerful suite of data processing tools, and an intelligent query router that seamlessly moves queries to the most efficient available engine. Because we host and manage the infrastructure, you can sit back and relax. When your organization grows and has specialized needs, you can override our decisions and customize as you see fit.

What's included?
Oleander is fundamentally two things: an intelligent query router and fully managed storage and compute resources. You and your agent don’t need to know what’s going on under the hood, as oleander acts as if it were a single data warehouse. You simply ask your question and get an answer.
Intelligent Query Routing
Intelligent query routing analyzes your query together with state and context to select the right engine based on workload characteristics, cost, and latency. oleander transpiles the query for the selected engine, provisions the compute, and routes it for execution. You can always override the decision and specify an engine.

Zero-Ops Fully Managed Infrastructure
It takes less than 5 minutes to launch an oleander deployment. Each organization instantly has access to fully managed iceberg storage, and compute engines like duckdb, spark, and polars. We handle the upgrades, the infrastructure hosting, really all of the boring parts, so you can focus on what you’re building.

When we built oleander, we wanted to tackle a net-new problem: to build a data warehouse specifically for agents, the right way. We also really wanted to build something that we could all be proud of. That meant creating tooling that sets organizations up for success from the very beginning.
Built for Agents
Oleander is purpose built for agents & builders. We currently have agent plugins available for codex and claude, and an mcp that any agent can use. Guardrails prevent your agent from spontaneously clearing up a bunch of “free” space, cross joining all of your largest tables, and generally being a menace.
Designed to Scale
When you launch an oleander data warehouse, lineage and telemetry collection starts too. All this information is readily available in tables that can be queried so that context is easily accessible when you need it most. Our platform is plug-and-play for a growing number of data warehouse providers, so if you want to add a Snowflake warehouse to your routing destinations, it’s a simple configuration change.
